Assignments and Notes (MANDATORY)
Week 1 - Quantitative Reasoning:
Quant Notes are Recommended if you struggle with basics.
Week 1 - Verbal Reasoning:
I would recommend that you read every word from Verbal's Notes.
These notes will help you bolster what we learned in the class.
Vocabulary:
- You are supposed to memorize at least 20 words per day. Install the Magoosh Flash Card App on your Smartphones. https://gre.magoosh.com/flashcards/vocabulary
- Revise on Weekends. Read our Vocab Blog in detail - it is hardly a 7-minute read but will help you a great deal! https://reformersprep.com/blog/how-to-memorize-25-gre-words-per-day/
- Moreover, the following video can help you learn 500 words in 5 hours! Take Heavy notes! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hNkop43n3BU&t=6238s
Note: You must solve all your assignments before moving on to the next lectures, ideally within 4 days.

Here's an example of an ideal GRE routine that you could follow
__________
Mondays:
- Take the mock exam shared on your portal. Time required = 2 hrs. 10 minutes. Skip the essay writing section at the beginning because it's manually checked on the actual GRE - no one will check it on Mocks.
- Make detailed mistake logs from the mock you took. Time required: Max 40 minutes. Follow the Mistake Log template shared in the next video.
- Memorize/revise vocabulary in any time left.
__________
Tuesday to Thursday:
- Solve assignments & note your mistakes. Dedicate 2-2.5 hours per day, minimum.
- Memorize 20 new words from the Magoosh Flashcards with the help of Vocabulary.com (Follow Google Classroom instructions for vocabulary tips and hacks). Dedicate 40-50 minutes, minimum.
__________
Fridays:
- Solve any remaining assignment/s & note down your mistakes. Dedicate 1-1.5 hours.
- Memorize 20 new words from the Magoosh Flashcards, and with the help of Vocabulary.com (Follow portal instructions for vocabulary tips and hacks) Dedicate 40-50 minute.
- Maybe book the optional query class if you need it.
__________
Saturdays and Sundays:
- Revise vocabulary from the Magoosh Vocabulary Builder. Dedicate 40-50 minutes.
- Take the compulsory GRE classes here. Time Required = roughly 2.2 hrs.
________________________________________________________________________
The above is an 'ideal routine' that can always be tweaked to fit YOUR situation.
Overall, spending at least 225 hours on GRE preparation will help you fulfill your GRE potential, but only if you prepare consistently (2-3 hrs per day) for 2.5-3 months.
Out of these 225 hours, you will spend about 48 hours watching lectures.
The remaining 177 hours can be spread over 2.5 months (recommended) to up to 4 months.
Momentum drops drastically after four months, so I never recommend any student dragging their preparation beyond 4 months.
Anyway, you will spend these 177 hours in:
A. Completing the assignments and overall practice material we give you via your Google Classroom.
B. Memorizing Vocabulary
C. Taking mock exams
D. Working on the weaknesses you discover from mock exams.
__________
Note!
- Students with a Math Background (Engineering, etc.) will struggle with Verbal Reasoning.
- Students with a non-math background (Literature, etc.) will struggle with Quantitative Reasoning.
